Albuquerque Crossroads
First BAC International Rally

American RV Park
Albuquerque, New Mexico

Rally Masters: Rett and Claire Porter March 16 - 20, 2010

The very first BAC International Rally was a smashing success. Albuquerque Crossroads celebrated the physical crossroads of the Turquoise trail in the center of the southwest, cultural crossroads and even the crossroads at which the BAC club now finds itself. Rett and Claire Porter did an excellent job providing great food and non-stop entertainment, crafts, karaoke, seminars and a ladies luncheon. The fun started with Mexican night and a Mariachi band, followed by St. Patrick's Day and Irish Step dancers. An all American night with a barbershop chorus and Beaver steak night followed. Added to the entertainment was 2 Texas Hold'em tournaments, Mexican train and several rounds of a fun "Newlywed" type game called "So...Just how well do the pilot and navigator know each other?" Mike Snell from Navistar gave the group the news that Monaco RV, LLC would produce no more Beaver coaches for the forseable future. At the BAC corporate meeting, the Board announced changes that will keep our club active and solvent well into the future. Seminars on coach maintenance and using the BAC forum and web site showed everyone how the club will respond to the needs of its members and provide money saving tips and assistance with coach problems. Our own BAC member Orman Claxton, sponsored the ice cream social and performed Aquahot service. A silent auction and 50-50 drawings, along with a contribution by Monaco RV, LLC, helped defray the costs of the rally. International Rallies represent a step toward independance from corporate sponsporship and all in all, Rett and Claire proved that the BAC club can not only survive with less support, but thrive! Check out the photos of this great rally.

Beaver County Fair
Bowling Green Ohio Lead-in Rally

Allen County Fairgrounds
Lima, Ohio

Rally Masters: Gary and Pat Gerber
July 14 - 18, 2009

All rally masters put something of themselves into their rallies, but when Gary and Pat Gerber use their incredible talents and entertainment experience, you know you are in for a good time! The Beaver County Fair had all the fun of an old fashioned summer fair. There were cute, "Gerber-made" flower pot clown centerpieces, carnival games with prizes for all, lessons in making balloon animals, and even a performance by a kazoo band, complete with their fancy rally-made instruments. Of course, for the more serious minded, there were workshops on first aid in the RV, trouble shooting problems in your RV, microwave cooking, and using the BAC web site and forum. Participants also had the great pleasure of hearing Mike Snell from Monaco RV, LLC and Tim Smith from Navistar, tell us how they are geared up and producing Beavers right now! A new 50-50 raffle went over very well and produced income for the club and 4 very happy winners. Lock 16 Caterers did an excellent job on the meals and even the entertainment had a fun twist, featuring the Lima Beane Chorus and the Kettering Banjo Society interspersed with well-attended game night and karaoke/dance music by Lamar Keck.Even the weather cooperated to make this a fantastic, fun rally. Music and Memories
Perry, GA FMCA Lead-in Rally

Spencefield
March 10 - 14, 2009

Rally Masters: Jack & Peggy Whitmill Moultrie, GA
Jack and Peggy Whitmill put on a tremendous rally at Spencefield in Moultrie, Georgia. The catered meals were outstanding, with a seafood fest, barbecue night and the most mouthwatering prime rib dinner you could ever eat. Entertainment included a jazz band and the N'awlin's Po Boyz, who encouraged audience participation, with humorous consequences. But the highlight was an appearance by the Four Aces, who sang many of their well-known ballads. Some excellent seminars were held, including using the BAC Forum to get help with coach problems. The popular tour of the Maule aircraft Factory, a manufacturer of small, light weight private planes added to the fun. The Monaco Club was also at Spencefield and BAC was invited to check out their vendor tent. All in all, it was a great rally. Despite Monaco's bankruptcy, the tone was very upbeat and the Beaver Ambassador Club made plans to continue and expand its exciting rally schedule across the country on into the forseeable future. Check out pictures of all the fun.

Bunyan, Babe and Beavers
St. Paul FMCA Lead-in Rally

Steele County Fairgrounds
July 7 - 11, 2008

Rally Masters: Claire and Jan Strobel Owtanna, MN

What better way to celebrate the 25th Anniversay of the Beaver Ambassador Club than with a great party in Minnesota. Claire and Jan Strobel did an outstanding job of planning and carrying out the summer lead-in. Food was great and even included an anniversary cake; but the highlight was the unique Beaver Night Hog Roast. In addition to some great music, games, crafts and seminars, there were several unique tour opportunities. Many enjoyed the Strobel Farm, an ethanol plant and reliving the history of that old family favorite - Spam - at the Spam Museum.

Surfin' San Diego
Pomona FMCA Lead-in Rally

San Diego Metro KOA
February 18 - 22, 2008

Rally Masters: Tim and Diana Bentley San Diego. California

Surfin' San Diego turned into a four day party with non-stop entertainment, seminars, socials and food. Even the cold weather (despite 80 degrees the weeks before and after the rally) and occasional showers couldn't put a damper on the fun. Carolyn and Larry Shirk's festive decorations and costumed Beavers highlighted the different themes for each day. Vicki and Roy Warren lined up incredible entertainment, not just for the evening, but for social hours and Show Coach Area Activities. And, in addition to organizing registration and the food servers, honorary Co-Rally masters Mark Carneal and Margret Hill helped arrange for a fantastic caterer and outstanding professional performers, The Doo Wah Riders. Beaver Roundup
Redmond FMCA Lead-in Rally

Crook County Fairgrounds
August 2 - 5, 2007

Rally Masters: Ken and Adele Willmon Prineville, Oregon

With catering by Kasey's Barbecue, entertainment by singers Lindy Gravel and the Booher Brothers and even long time Beaver friends - former steak and Beaver Wearables gurus - Frank and Judy Balantyne putting in an appearance, this great rally was reminiscent of the factory Homecomings of old. Add to this the traditional social hours, seminars, ice cream social, Monaco service team and a performance by the Lone Pine Rangers mounted shooting team and you come up with  a lot of Beaver fun. Check out pictures of the activities.
